Bryan Liston

Bryan Liston has made intimate portraits of his close circle of friends since he was a teenager living in Dallas, TX, and his capacity for collaboration, observation and subtle storytelling has become the hallmark of his photographic approach. A groundswell of interest and support for his authentic photographic practice rose through social media and caught the attention of image-makers and creatives who have since welcomed him as a new voice in the field of fashion image-making. His collaboration with legendary stylist Melanie Ward was first published in Self Service S/S 2019, and his inclusion in the Self Service 25th anniversary exhibition at Dallas Contemporary, TX, in the same year heralded Liston’s arrival. He has subsequently collaborated with stylists Charlotte Collet (Self Service F/W 2019), Alex Harrington (More or Less F/W 2019), Elodie David Touboul (Self Service S/S 2020), creative director Ezra Petronio (Zara fragrance and Saint Laurent Rive Droit), and created digital campaigns for Helmut Lang, Jil Sander, and Victoria Beckham.
